If you need technical support with a Brunstock product, please contact the Brunstock representative you purchased it from. This company should be listed under the heading BESS portfolio on our contact page. You are also welcome to email us for assistance at service@brunstock.com.

Brunstock’s after sales service, which includes energy storage monitoring, operations and maintenance, servicing, spare parts and more is available for a fee. If your company already has a service agreement with a Brunstock representative, please refer to their information for what to do when you need after sales services. If you are not sure, please get in contact with the local network operation centre (Brunstock NOC) in your region according to your geographic location.

Emergencies

During an actual emergency personnel must refer to the site emergency response plan or they can fall back on the emergency procedure below. The following images show where the emergency stop button is, however, personnel on BESS sites should already know about this due to their site inductions, the site emergency management plan and workplace health and safety training. If you need help updating your documentation based on Brunstock’s emergency reponse plan as the manufacturer of the BESS, please contact us using the form below.

Emergency response procedures

In the event of a fire, thermal event, or safety hazard involving a Brunstock BESS, follow these steps immediately:

Call emergency services

Dial your local emergency number (e.g. 000 in Australia, 112 in Europe, 10111 in South Africa).

Evacuate the area

Move all personnel to a safe distance. Maintain a minimum exclusion zone of 100 metres from the unit.

Press the emergency stop

If safe to do so, press the red emergency stop button located on the front panel of the BESS unit.

Contact Brunstock NOC

Call your regional NOC number (listed above) to report the incident. Available 24/7 for emergencies.

Important safety warning

Do NOT attempt to extinguish a lithium-ion battery fire with water. Do NOT re-enter the exclusion zone until cleared by emergency services. Do NOT open cabinet doors during a thermal event. Inform emergency responders that the unit contains lithium-ion batteries.
