What is actually in a BESS? From the outside, battery storage systems usually look quite unspectacular: containers, doors, ventilation. The new Brunstock BESS exhibition model sent to our representatives in Switzerland, NRG Solutions AG, shows what is behind it: battery modules, power electronics, cooling and the various components of a system in interaction. And of course, at around 20 kg, the model is a bit more handy than the original. In the future, it will accompany NRG at trade fairs and can also be seen in their office—making complex storage technology a bit more tangible.
