BGP-40.5 primary SF6-free switchgear
Our BGP‑40.5 1250‑31.5 clean-air gas-insulated switchgear (C‑GIS) has been independently type tested by TÜV Rheinland to:
- IEC 62271‑100:2021+A1
- IEC 62271‑200:2021+A1
Testing covered short‑circuit performance, dielectric strength, mechanical endurance and protection class verification. The type test programme included operating sequence checks, out‑of‑phase making and breaking, double‑earth fault tests, LC1/LC2 and CC1/CC2 duties, and partial discharge measurement.
The design achieved IP54 for the control circuit, IP4X for the cable room and IP67 for the gas tank. Key ratings include 40.5 kV rated voltage, 1250 A rated normal current, 31.5 kA short‑circuit breaking current, 80 kA peak withstand current and 4 s short‑circuit duration.
Lightning impulse withstand levels were verified at 185/215 kV, with power‑frequency withstand levels of 95/118 kV.
The Brunstock BGP‑40.5/1250‑31.5 was tested under Registration No. AK 50669543 0001 and Report No. CN2583X4 001.
BGS-40.5 secondary SF6-free switchgear
Our BGS‑40.5 1250‑31.5 clean‑air GIS has also been independently type tested by TÜV Rheinland to:
- IEC 62271‑200:2021+A1
- IEC 62271‑100:2021+A1
- IEC 62271‑102:2018+A1
Testing covered dielectric performance, short‑circuit duties, mechanical endurance, disconnector and earthing switch operation, and protection class verification. The type test programme included out‑of‑phase breaking, cable‑charging and line‑charging duties, internal arc classification, partial discharge measurement and full operating sequence checks.
The design achieved IP4X for the enclosure and IP67 for the gas‑filled compartment, with LSC2A loss‑of‑service‑continuity classification and IAC A FLR 31.5 kA for one second.
Key ratings include 40.5 kV rated voltage, 1250 A rated continuous current, 31.5 kA short‑circuit breaking current, 80 kA making current and 31.8/80 kA short‑time and peak withstand levels for the main circuit. Lightning impulse withstand levels were verified at 185/215 kV, with power‑frequency withstand levels of 95/118 kV.
The Brunstock BGS‑40.5/1250‑31.5 was tested under Registration No. AK 50698408 0001 and Report No. CN254552 001.
BGS-24 secondary SF6-free switchgear
Our BGS‑24 T630‑25 vacuum circuit breaker module has been independently type tested by TÜV Rheinland to:
- IEC 62271‑100:2021+A1
- IEC 62271‑200:2021+A1
- IEC 62271‑102:2018+A1
Testing covered dielectric performance, short‑circuit duties, mechanical endurance, disconnector and earthing switch operation, and protection class verification. The type test programme included line‑charging and cable‑charging duties, out‑of‑phase breaking, internal arc classification, partial discharge measurement and full operating sequence checks.
The design achieved IP4X for the enclosure and IP67 for the tank, with LSC2A loss‑of‑service‑continuity classification and IAC A FLR 25 kA for one second. Key ratings include 24 kV rated voltage, 630 A rated continuous current, 25 kA short‑circuit breaking current, 63 kA making current and 25/63 kA short‑time and peak withstand levels for the main circuit.
Lightning impulse withstand levels were verified at 125/145 kV, with power‑frequency withstand levels of 65/79 kV. The BGS‑24/T630‑25 was tested under Registration No. AK 50700907 0001 and Report No. CN25CBVS 001.
