Fire Suppression System
Brunstock’s BESS is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system, which carries out composite detection (smoke, temperature, CO, VOC) for the battery compartment. Brunstock’s fire suppression system uses aerosol for submerged fire extinguishing, meeting the requirements of NFPA855.
The system includes cabin-level detection, a fire controller, emergency start and stop buttons, audible and visual alarms, gas fire extinguishing devices and gas spray indicators. It also has an aerosol sprinkler pipeline and reserved water fire protection interface.

Temperature control
Brunstock’s liquid cooling system is mainly composed of multiple levels of pipelines, connectors, liquid cooling plates and chillers. Compared with air cooling systems, the investment in liquid cooling makes better sense for the future. The advantages of liquid cooling include:
- Strong heat exchange
- Precise temperature control
- Maximised battery performance
Our liquid cooling solution can control the temperature difference within the rack to 3°C, reducing power consumption by 40% compared to air cooling systems. This makes it suitable for energy storage systems with large energy density and heat generation.
